How Can You Participate?

Present:

Texas students in K – 6th grade are invited to give a 5–10 minute presentation on any topic that relates to the Governor’s Mansion or any other Texas historical building. Presentations can focus on

  • a particular time period at the mansion
  • famous visitors
  • a particular governor
  • interesting facts about the contents of the mansion
  • what the process is for restoring historic buildings
  • or any other Texas historical building

Presentations can be an oral presentation with an electronic slide show, a “skit” or re-enactment, a “quiz show” of “did you know” questions and answers, create a video clip to be posted on our web site, or put on your creative hats and surprise us with your presentation!

Not sure what to present? Check out the Texas Governor's Mansion web site at http://www.TexasGovernorsMansion.org for ideas.

Deadline to submit a presentation proposal is April 17th!

Interact:

Interact with other student presenters. Sites that present will have first priority to interact with our special guests.

Watch: Watch as a "view only" site while fellow students present.
